The boredom is killing me!

I feel the need to get out and do something wild. I really dislike living like some old school marm, but that is the life I am leading.

Please help me out of this rut!

To answer your question...

Yes, Theodore and I are looking at meadowood.

The price is right, and the units are not bad. We are not looking for anything classy or upscale, just a decent place to live.

We still have to decide wether we want a Two or Three Bedroom unit. I am thinking we may end up choosing the two bedroom model though.

I have been to Brenden. Amanda, Paul, and Daniele's place a couple times. I am of the understanding that Brenden and Amanda had moved out. Was I wrong?

I like the layouts, especially the addition of the basement. it should work perfectly for Theodore and I.

I did not know you were in the same complex. Is there any information you could give me which may be useful?

As far as referrals, I have no problem listing you as a referral. However, Theodore was the one who sold me on the place, and I do believe he would want any referral incentive to go to Paul and Daniele. I will see though.

Well, I am not sure what else to type. :)

I haven't talked to Brendan in a while, so I wasn't sure if he and Amanda moved out. They were saying that it is a little strange and sometimes difficult to build a marriage with others at home.

I can certainly understand about the referral going to Paul.

Anyway...some of the downers about the two-bedroom units...

1. There is no consistency regarding whether or not you might have electrical outlets in the basement (my dad is planning on installing more for me).
2. The place is creaky. I can hear my cats walking upstairs.
3. The living room and the kitchen are very small.
4. Gas and electric bills are MUCH more expensive when it gets cooler (install your own weather stripping!).
5. Some of the residents don't give their teenaged kids keys to the home, so in the afternoons you will find many kids loitering.
6. The office and maintenance staff is marginal, at best.

These are all things that aren't so bad. You would encounter them just about anywhere.

Some of the good things

1. I rarely hear my neighbors.
2. I was able to buy a washer and dryer and it is out of the way in the basement.
3. I don't pay for water/sewer.
4. Mailbox right outside door - you don't have to run across the complex to some community mailbox area.
5. Convenient for work, entertainment, shopping.
6. Not as pricey as its equivalent in Livonia, Westland, Belleville and Plymouth.
7. You can alter your individual flowerbed area, if that's your thing.
8. Jeremy and I are here!

Well, I hope to cure some of the boredom this weekend --- will you be able to come on Saturday?
